Cruse Bereavement Care, one of the groups NICVA is working with as part of Reaching Out: Connecting Older People, is launching Beyond Words - a Big Lottery funded partnership between Cruse Bereavement Care and the Stroke Association.

The project aims to improve bereavement care for older people by raising awareness of bereavement, providing user friendly information packs, training and assisting individuals to support older people who have been bereaved.

There will be guest speakers at the launch including Edwin Poots, Minister for Health, Social Services and Public Safety and there will be a short drama specifically developed for the launch.

The launch will be held on 4 December from 11am - 12.30pm at the Factory Studio at the MAC, 10 Exchange Street West, Belfast, BT1 2NJ. There will be tea and coffee available at registration.

Please RSVP to Paul Finnegan by 26 November at [email protected], tel: 02890 792419.
