Charity Regulation and Good Governance Roadshow

20 Mar 2014 Denise Copeland    Last updated: 23 Jun 2014

Now that the Charity Commission has established the register of charities, and has its powers of investigation and enforcement, what does this mean in practice for charities on the ground?

The Developing Governance Group in association with the Charity Commission for NI and local support networks would like to invite you to a free seminar focusing on the new rules and regulations that have come into being from charity legislation which all voluntary and community organisations need to be aware of.

This seminar will also focus on the importance of good governance within charities.  Participants will have the opportunity to consider the revised Code of Good Governance which is being launched for consultation by the Developing Governance Group, as well as being able to pose questions to the Charity Commission.

This seminar will take place in various venues across Northern Ireland in conjunction with local support networks.  Unfortunately, it has not been possible to go to every town in Northern Ireland so please see the list below for your nearest seminar.

Please note that places are limited; if you would like to attend please register with the named contact in your chosen area below. Registration and refreshments will be available 15 minutes before the start of each event.
