1 Jun 2018 Seamus McAleavey    Last updated: 1 Jun 2018

The Department of Health has provided an update on progress in health transformation including the Encompass Programme which will introduce a digital integrated health and care record to Northern Ireland.

Each individual’s health information will be held in one digital record and be available to health professionals when they need it.  It will also be available to the individual and we will be able to access, securely our own information and interact with the system.

Other areas covered in the update include:

  1. HSC Workforce Strategy
  2. Transformation Funding
  3. Elective Care Centres
  4. TIG at NICON18
  5. Transforming Cancer Services:
  6. Looked After Children
  7. Social Procurement Clauses

The full update is available  in the attached article above.
