Job Title: HR Manager (maternity cover)
Responsible to: Deputy Chief Executive
Status of Post: Full time (35 hrs per week) however as the role is short term, the option of working reduced hours will be considered. Fixed term maternity cover contract for approx. 10 months.
Salary: Salary equivalent to NICVA Scale J, NJC Salary points 38 - 40 (£33,437- £35,444).
About the role:
In this standalone role, the HR Manager will manage NICVA’s internal HR function as well as providing HR advice, guidance and training externally to organisations in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in Northern Ireland.
Summary of the role:
• To manage NICVA’s HR function and implement the HR strategy.
• To provide advice and guidance to NICVA managers on employee relations matters and be responsible for the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation and best practice.
• To provide advice, guidance and training to VCSE (voluntary, community and social enterprise) sector organisations on a range of HR topics.
• To provide facilities management support for the NICVA building, tenants, and conference facilities.
