NICVA staff and Board saddened by the death of our Honorary Vice President Dr Jeremy Harbison CB

Jermey Harbison CB

It is with great sadness that NICVA learned of the death of our Honorary Vice President Dr Jeremy Harbison on Saturday 14 August 2015.

Jeremy was a distinguished public servant and progressive individual who made an enormous contribution to society.

As a senior civil servant he led on community relations, tackling social exclusion and community development as well as a range of other policy areas.  Since retiring from the civil service in 2001 he remained active in a variety of organisations both in the public and voluntary and community sectors.

Jeremy was an inspirational person and will be a sad loss to NICVA and the wider community.

The Executive Committee, Chief Executive and staff of NICVA extend our sympathy to his wife Joan and entire family circle.
