It was all about the abbreviations in NICVA last week as we knuckled down to three meetings in a row with NICVA members and key government departments. I can't say the meetings were enjoyable, the subject matter was far too grave, but I get a real buzz when so many of our members are in the same room mulling over the issues and speaking up on behalf of the communities they work with.   I've mentioned before that I am impressed with the level of engagement from the civil servants who have been addressing the meetings and Andrew Hamilton from DEL and John McGrath from DE didn't disappoint.
