nicvanews
nicvanews is our magazine for members. Published 10 times per year it covers news, events, funding and training opportunities in the voluntary and community sector. There are also sections for new publications, policy updates and member stories.
Guidance for contributors
The editors welcome your articles for inclusion. Got a story to tell, event to promote or publication to share? Why not send us an article?
Deadline
The copy deadline is the second Tuesday of every month.
Remember too that - in true magazine style - nicvanews is published a month ahead. So for example in April we would produce the May edition, with information relevant to that month.
Format
Please note that nicvanews is a monochrome magazine, but we will on occasion publish photos or logos relevant to stories. Articles should be text only in Arial font size 12. Pdfs/image files should be turned into Word documents before submission. Photos/logos should be sent through as jpeg files. Articles of around 200 words are welcome, however, if you have ideas for longer articles please feel free to contact the editor.
Advertising
The back cover of nicvanews is available for an A5 full colour image at a rate of £500 per issue. Further advertising is available inside the magazine in both monochrome and colour. Recent advertisers include Ortus and Institute of Fundraising. You can also include a flyer in our mailouts. Prices start at £220 per 1,000 items for NICVA members. NICVA'S current advertising rate card is available to download below.
