Response to NI Policing Board Consultation on District Policing Partnerships
Response to NI Policing Board Consultation on District Policing Partnerships
NICVA's response to the Northern Ireland Policing Board consultation on future arrangements for District Policing Partnerships.
NICVA believes that the introduction of Community Planning under the Review of Public Administration allows an opportunity to examine how all of our existing structures can be made more integrated and thus more effective in delivering outcomes for communities.
The exploration of possibilities for community safety and DPP structures and the recognition of their common agenda and areas of overlap is welcome. However, the community safety agenda is broader than the operational issues of policing.
