Accountability and Privacy by Design (Data Fridays)

Primary tabs

21 April 2017 -
10:00am to 12:00pm

This free 2 hour session delivered by the Information Commissioners Office will highlight charities responsibilities for demonstrating compliance with data protection principles.

Building on the current data protection framework, the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation introduces a new requirement for organisations to be able to demonstrate compliance with data protection.

In this session, we will look at what GDPR expects from an accountability and governance perspective, and you will learn about the tools that you can use to help promote and achieve data protection compliance by adopting a privacy by design approach within your organisation.

This session is part of our Data Fridays series and is delivered in partnership with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
