9:45am to 12:00pm

A free "one-stop" seminar covering everything you need to know to keep your fundraising legal, ethical and fully respectful of those who entrust their money to your organisation.

The Fundraising Regulator is England, Wales and Northern Ireland’s new independent charitable fundraising regulator, supported and funded by charities as a commitment to fundraising self-regulation.

In conjunction with NICVA, the Fundraising Regulator is now inviting all NI fundraising organisations to a free “one stop” seminar aimed at explaining their role and remit and providing a deeper, more practical understanding of what constitutes good fundraising practice.

Stephen Dunmore, Chief Executive of the Fundraising Regulator, will cover –

  • The Role of the Fundraising Regulator
  • Benefits for Charities in working with the Fundraising Regulator
  • The Code of Fundraising Practice
  • Complaints and Investigations
  • Levy and registration
  • The Fundraising Preference Service
  • Data protection, GDPR and fundraising

As well as the opportunity to meet with Stephen Dunmore, Chief Executive of the Fundraising Regulator, there will be round table discussions and a panel of experts will also be available to answer your queries on best practice in fundraising.
