ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management (East Belfast)

This three-day course is part of the East Belfast Community Capacity and Leadership Programme and is delivered by NICVA. It is for anyone who is in a leadership role or aspires to be in a leadership role and will help you develop the skills and knowledge to develop and manage an effective and cohesive team.

The course will be delivered over three days and will include presentations, group work and other interactive activities. It will provide the opportunity to share learning and best practice as well as discuss challenges that you face. By attending the course and completing the assessment including a presentation of your learning on the third day of the programme you can achieve an ILM Level 3 Award.

9 April: Leadership skills and Presentation skills - leadership styles and theories, effective leadership, preparing for presentations, making a presentation.

16 April : Building an effective team - team roles, setting goals for your team, team development, communications

23 April: Presentation of your learning - assessment

Each day will be from 10am-4pm and be held in the East Belfast Network Centre
