ILM Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring East Belfast (FULLY BOOKED)

This Level 5 course is aimed at staff, board or volunteers of organisations active in East Belfast who wish to understand what is involved in coaching and mentoring and to learn tools and techniques for delivering effective coaching and mentoring sessions.


In the course you will learn:

  • The difference between coaching and mentoring
  • The characteristics and skills of effective coaching and mentoring
  • The values required for effective coaching and mentoring.

The course runs on the following dates and we ask participants to commit to all dates:

Friday 26 October, 1pm--2pm: Online Induction

Training Day 1: Tuesday 6 November, 10am – 4pm

Training Day 2: Tuesday 13 November, 10am – 4pm

Training Day 3: Tuesday 27 November, 10am – 4pm

Thursday 6 December, 10am – 1pm: Accreditation Support Session

To achieve the ILM Level 5 accreditation, participants will be required to evidence 12 hours of coaching and/or mentoring in the workplace/voluntary setting.

There are 3 assignments to complete, and NICVA will provide support to participants to help you understand how to complete the ILM assignments and templates.

With the exception of the online induction session, all sessions are held at the East Belfast Network Centre, 55, Templemore Avenue, Belfast.
