This 60 minute webinar is free to NICVA members. It will provide an overview of the GDPR regulations and signpost to helpful resources and guidance.

Please note, this training is fully booked and a reserve list is in place.

This webinar is for those that would like an introduction to the language of GDPR and an overview of the 8 data protection principles.

This short session is for those that are new to GDPR and have not attended the Data Friday sessions. We are providing it as we know everyone is not able to attend the Data Friday sessions and so wanted to make the basic information from these sessions accessible to all staff, volunteers and board members in our sector.

The online session will include the following:

  • What is GDPR
  • Principles of GDPR
  • Lawful processing of personal data
  • 12 steps to take now to prepare for GDPR
