If you are interested in building your confidence in making professional presentations and if nerves are an issue for you then this is the course for you. The content is tailored to you and your skill level and we have made 8 places available only which gives you the opportunity to practice your skills. Institute of Leadership and management (ILM) unit accreditation is available for this course.

The one day presentation skills training on 23 May will equip you will the knowledge and skills to deliver effective professional presentations. The content will include:

  • Plan and structure your presentation to suit the audience
  • Speak with confidence and overcome nerves
  • Bring your presentation material to life
  • Create an impact and choose appropriate and relevant visual aids

If you would like to have an opportunity to practice your presentation skills and be assessed you will have the option of attending a second day on 6 June, when you will deliver a 8-10 minute presentation. You will prepare and present your chosen topic and we will use recorded video and playback so that you can evaluate and improve your performance.  It is not compulsory to attend the second day but if you are serious about improving your skills of presenting then we recommend you do. If you wish to gain ILM unit accreditation you will be assessed against the required criteria and given feedback.

The cost of each day is £75 members and £110 non-members and if you attend the second day the cost of that day covers ILM registration and certification.
