TQUK Level 3 Award in Education and Training (East Belfast)
Over the four days learners will be taken through the full process of teaching and training - known as the training cycle. We have designed activities to help you think about how you teach and practical actiities that will help improve your delivery. The first three days, delivered on 22 and 29 January and 5th February 2019 from 10am - 4pm, cover the following areas:
- Roles and responsibilities of a teacher
- Barriers to learning and strategies to overcome these
- The learning cycle and learning styles
- Session Plans and schemes of work
- Assessment types and methods
- Visual aids and support
On the fourth day on 12 February 2019 from 10am - 4pm you will be recorded delivering a 30 minute microteaching session to your peers. This will form part of your assessment along with three assignments required to achieve the level 3 award.
Please note that there will be a brief online induction on 8 January 2019 from 1-2pm. You will be sent instructions on how to join the session via the email address you provided.
