THIS TRAINING IS FULLY BOOKED. WE WILL BE RUNNING ANOTHER SESSION IN THE FUTURE

Over the four days learners will be taken through the full process of teaching and training - known as the training cycle.  We have designed activities to help you think about how you teach and practical actiities that will help improve your delivery.  The first three days, delivered on 4, 11 and 18 September 2018 from 10am - 4pm, cover the following areas:

  • Roles and responsibilities of a teacher
  • Barriers to learning and strategies to overcome these
  • The learning cycle and learning styles
  • Session Plans and schemes of work
  • Assessment types and methods
  • Visual aids and support

On the fourth day on 25 September 2018 from 10am - 4pm you will be recorded delivering a 30 minute microteaching session to your peers.  This will form part of your assessment along with three assignments required to achieve the level 3 award.
