Assertive managers
Be more assertive and encourage assertiveness in others. This training will show you a technique that will help you behave more assertively in potentially difficult situations.
NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast, BT 15 2GB.
Managers are generally assertive but sometimes due to tight deadlines, challenging personalities within our teams, weak management skills, we can undermine our staff and in turn allow ourselves to be undermined which causes trouble and a loss of respect in the long term.
This training will show you a technique that will help you behave more assertively in potentially difficult situations. You will assess your own behaviour in the workplace and think about ways of implementing change in your interactions with staff whilst encouraging them to be assertive as well. Maximum benefit will be achieved if you consider attending this session along with managing staff although it is not compulsory.
