Government departments are currently working on their spending priorities for the next four years as part of the Comprehensive Spending Review. NICVA contacted each government department and requested they meet with voluntary and community organisations in their area of interest to outline the current situation and discuss issues of concern.
NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast BT15 2GB
With public expenditure in Northern Ireland expected to decrease by around £1.2 billion this is one of the most important spending reviews for voluntary and community organisations and the people, families and communities we work with.
We know that this is short notice, but departments are working to a very tight timescale. Each meeting will be attended by high level officials and other relevant representatives. We would encourage as many organisations as possible to take the opportunity to engage with officials at this crucial time.
