NICVA has arranged for high level officials and other key representatives from the Department of Regional Development to provide the voluntary and community sector with an overview of the current budgetary situation being faced by their department.
NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast, BT15 2GB
Government departments are currently working on their spending priorities for the next four years as part of the Comprehensive Spending Review. NICVA contacted each government department and requested they meet with voluntary and community organisations in their area of interest to outline the current situation and discuss issues of concern.
We know that this is short notice, but departments are working to a very tight timescale and we would encourage as many organisations as possible to take the opportunity to engage with officials at this crucial time.
With public expenditure in Northern Ireland expected to decrease by around £1.2 billion this is one of the most important spending reviews for voluntary and community organisations and the people, families and communities we work with.
To register to attend, please contact Colm Burns on 028 9087 7777 or email colm.burns@nicva.org
Other meetings:
Dates for other departments will follow as soon as they are confirmed.
