Getting your message across
This interactive session offers an understanding of how the media works and includes advice on how to write an eyecatching press release.

Participants will draw up a press release, be interviewed and receive feedback on their performance. It will look at the good, the bad and the ugly of getting your message across. It will also guide participants through developing their key message that will sell.
The session is at an introductory level and aimed at anyone in your organisation who has responsibility for publicising your projects or events.

Cancellation fee
If you wish to cancel your place at this event you must inform at roisin [dot] kelly [at] nicva [dot] org by email five working days in advance of the event date. If you inform us less than five working days or not at all and do not attend you will be invoiced for the full cost of the event.
Getting here and Parking
NICVA has a number of free parking spaces available for those attending events. Unfortunately these can't be reserved and are available on a first come basis. NICVA's spaces are clearly marked and we would ask that visitors only use spaces allocated to NICVA when attending an event.
Parking is also available on Duncairn Gardens and surrounding areas within close walking distance. NICVA is also a short walk from Yorkgate Train Station and you can easily catch a bus from the city centre (no 1D) direct to Duncairn Gardens, or (no 61 and 64) to Cityside Centre (a few minutes walk).
