Every individual tax payer has the right to add the tax they have already paid unto donations they make. It is up to the charity to reclaim that money.

Gift Aid is a scheme every organisation that is registered as a charity should use to reclaim at least 28% on donations received. This course is specially designs for charities who do not currently use Gift Aid or who wish to improve the methods and techniques they currently use.

The course will cover the rules of gift aid reclaiming for a range of fundraising methods such as donations/standing orders, sponsorship and challenge event, charity shops, gala balls etc.
The course will also propose organisations should run a Gift Aid Campaign and to register to receive donations from Higher Rate Tax-payers amongst other helpful tips and suggestions.
