How government departments get and spend their budgets
This free training is aimed at helping voluntary and community organisations to better understand how the institutions of government in Northern Ireland work. We will focus on engaging with them on issues affecting our sector as well as learning more about how to lobby for real change.
NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast BT15 2GB
This session will unravel the mysterious process of how a department bids for and spends its budget. It will help you understand the main issues including the block grant, the decision making processes which match policy to money and how you can influence decisions at the right time.
