Managing staff
Managing staff offers a valuable training opportunity for anyone involved in the supervision, support and management of staff.

This one day course describes a framework for managing the performance of staff including supervision and appraisal. It also covers how to give feedback and tips for how to deal with underperformance. Motivation of staff is a key part of supporting staff and this session will outline motivation theories and give an opportunity for participants to share ideas.
(There is the option of achieving accreditation from the Institute of Leadership and Management for this course as a unit of the First Line Management Level 3 Certificate).

Cancellation fee
If you wish to cancel your place at this event you must inform at roisin [dot] kelly [at] nicva [dot] org by email five working days in advance of the event date. If you inform us less than five working days or not at all and do not attend you will be invoiced for the full cost of the event.
Getting here and Parking
NICVA has a number of free parking spaces available for those attending events. Unfortunately these can't be reserved and are available on a first come basis. NICVA's spaces are clearly marked and we would ask that visitors only use spaces allocated to NICVA when attending an event.
Parking is also available on Duncairn Gardens and surrounding areas within close walking distance. NICVA is also a short walk from Yorkgate Train Station and you can easily catch a bus from the city centre (no 1D) direct to Duncairn Gardens, or (no 61 and 64) to Cityside Centre (a few minutes walk).
