Managing staff as a Board (E)
Improving your leadership and supervision skills will produce benefits for you and your organisation. Throughout this session we will be focusing on the skills required to lead an organisation to success.

We will start by assessing your leadership style and how this affects the communication of clear objectives for your team. Providing best practice guidelines we will review your role in the evaluation of senior management and focus on skills for planning, coaching and helping to develop these roles.
Topics included in this session are;
- Ensuring the Board is meeting its duty to effectively lead the organisation
- Ensuring the organisation's goals are being met
- Providing continuing development for senior management
- Providing effective feedback for all performance levels
As places are limited and demand is usually high please make your booking as soon as possible and at least one week before the event. Individuals cannot be registered without receipt of a booking form.

Cancellation fee
If you wish to cancel your place at this event you must inform at roisin [dot] kelly [at] nicva [dot] org by email five working days in advance of the event date. If you inform us less than five working days or not at all and do not attend you will be invoiced for the full cost of the event.
Getting here and Parking
NICVA has a number of free parking spaces available for those attending events. Unfortunately these can't be reserved and are available on a first come basis. NICVA's spaces are clearly marked and we would ask that visitors only use spaces allocated to NICVA when attending an event.
Parking is also available on Duncairn Gardens and surrounding areas within close walking distance. NICVA is also a short walk from Yorkgate Train Station and you can easily catch a bus from the city centre (no 1D) direct to Duncairn Gardens, or (no 61 and 64) to Cityside Centre (a few minutes walk).
