Measuring your impact
This course is for organisations or individuals seeking to understand and measure value. It is an introduction to understanding change and how to start measuring your work as well as placing values on what really matters.
The training provides a baseline for evidencing your social, economic and environmental values towards mapping the impact of your organisation's work.
This course is aimed at those people responsible for managing projects or programmes on behalf of their organisations.

Course Description
Gauge impact mapping form the evidence base for beginning to map out an organisation's value and impact in social, economic and environmental terms. These are used for the purposes of mapping the planned or intended changes for any given service or organisation.
This includes an in-depth review of the proposed outcomes for measuring change and selecting appropriate indicators upon which to map against your organisation's aims and objectives of projects, programmes or sector initiatives.
Course Objectives
- Gauge mapping introduces the initial stages of understanding value and measuring impact by;
- Identifying and prioritising stakeholders
- Evidencing intended and unintended changes in voluntary/community organisation's work
- Producing a set of indicators upon which to measure social and economic values
- Mapping the overall process into an organisational Impact Map
As places are limited and demand is usually high please make your booking as soon as possible and at least one week before the event. Individuals cannot be registered without receipt of a booking form.

Cancellation fee
If you wish to cancel your place at this event you must inform at roisin [dot] kelly [at] nicva [dot] org by email five working days in advance of the event date. If you inform us less than five working days or not at all and do not attend you will be invoiced for the full cost of the event.
Getting here and Parking
NICVA has a number of free parking spaces available for those attending events. Unfortunately these can't be reserved and are available on a first come basis. NICVA's spaces are clearly marked and we would ask that visitors only use spaces allocated to NICVA when attending an event.
Parking is also available on Duncairn Gardens and surrounding areas within close walking distance. NICVA is also a short walk from Yorkgate Train Station and you can easily catch a bus from the city centre (no 1D) direct to Duncairn Gardens, or (no 61 and 64) to Cityside Centre (a few minutes walk).
