NICVA's Policy Fora - Community Relations
Are you or your organisation interested in trying to influence decision makers? Would you like to share experience and network with individuals with identified subject areas with the view to enhance the capacity of your organisation to make policy responses, co-ordinate policy information, participate in policy development and influence decision making?
NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast BT15 2GB
Then come and participate in NICVa's policy fora. NICVA's policy fora are held as part of the Vital Links programme with the aim of increasing the interaction and understanding of the key institutions, the voluntary and community sector and foster and promote positive engagement.
The policy fora are chaired by policy experts in each subject and aims to meet 3-4 times a year in NICVA and venues across the country. Membership is free to and is open to any voluntary and community sector organisation or individual with an interest in these topics. Each of the forum meetings will have a theme and/or speaker.
If you would like to find out more or be kept informed on any of the policy fora, please contact the policy team at NICVA on 028 9087 7777 or email patricia.stewart@nicva.org. If you would like to book a place on any of the policy fora, please contact Cathy Breslin at cathy.breslin@nicva.org
Getting here and Parking
NICVA has a number of free parking spaces available for those attending events. Unfortunately these can't be reserved and are available on a first come basis. NICVA's spaces are clearly marked and we would ask that visitors only use spaces allocated to NICVA when attending an event. Parking is also available on Duncairn Gardens and surrounding areas within close walking distance. NICVA is also a short walk from Yorkgate Train Station and you can easily catch a bus from the city centre (no 1D) direct to Duncairn Gardens, or (no 61 and 64) to Cityside Centre (a few minutes walk).
