Policy forum - Advocacy and Lobbying
NICVA is hosting the next meeting of the advocacy and lobbying policy forum as part of the Vital Links project. The forum welcomes Lee Reynolds, Director of Strategy with the Democratic Unionist Party as a speaker.
NICVA,
61 Duncairn Gardens,
Belfast,
BT15 2GB
As part of the Vital Links project, the advocacy and lobbying policy forum offers the sector the opportunity to interact with MLAs and learn about the inner workings of the different political parties. It enables the sector to meet face to face with elected representatives and the policy officers from the parties and learn about how best to make their voices heard.
The forum also provides the sector with an opportunity to share ideas and best practice, network with other organisations within their area of interest and build the capacity and skills to influence decision makers.
The next advocacy and lobbying policy forum welcomes Lee Reynolds, Director of Strategy for the Democratic Unionist Party. Lee is a graduate of Queen's University Belfast and the University of Ulster. He worked in a voluntary and paid capacity for 15 years in the community and cultural development sectors. Previously a member of the UUP, he joined the DUP in 2007 and joined the staff team in March 2010 as Director of Strategy. He has contributed occasional opinion pieces to the Belfast Telegraph and News Letter and is an avid blogger.

Getting here and Parking
NICVA has a number of free parking spaces available for those attending events. Unfortunately these can't be reserved and are available on a first come basis. NICVA's spaces are clearly marked and we would ask that visitors only use spaces allocated to NICVA when attending an event.
Parking is also available on Duncairn Gardens and surrounding areas within close walking distance. NICVA is also a short walk from Yorkgate Train Station and you can easily catch a bus from the city centre (no 1D) direct to Duncairn Gardens, or (no 61 and 64) to Cityside Centre (a few minutes walk).
The Vital Links project is part-financed by the European Union's European Regional Development Fund through the EU Programme for Peace and Reconciliation (PEACE III) managed by the Special EU Programmes Body. The Special EU Programmes Body is the Managing Authority for the European Union's PEACE III Programme.
