Understanding performance management*

Aim

To enable participants to provide performance management as an ongoing process that can be monitored and mapped throughout your organisation.

The programme focuses on managing staff as an ongoing process and how your management style can have a direct impact on your staff and their performance.  We will look at providing you with the tools to help you develop the day to day performance of your staff.   We will provide you will the tools to give honest constructive feedback, helping remove the perception of negative feedback and allowing you to own the feedback you give.

This programme will also provide you with an overview of how to provide long term and professional support for those you manage.

Objectives

1. Understand the value of assessing performance to meet organisational and individual needs
2. Identify your teams development needs and learning styles
3. Motivate your work team to improve performance in the workplace
4. Use practical feedback methods to improve communication and performance within you work team.
