Westminster hustings event at NICVA
NICVA is hosting a pre-election Westminster hustings event at 2pm on Thursday 15 April.
NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast, BT15 2GB
This event, which forms part of the PEACE III funded Vital Links project, will not only give attendees the opportunity to ask questions of all the main political parties, who will be represented on the day, but also to find out more about NICVA's policy fora, which will also be re-launched as part of the event.
The policy fora provide a valuable opportunity to share information, keep up to date with policy developments and build your own capacity and skills to influence decision makers.
The policy fora cover areas such as men, women, arts, environment, older people, community relations, poverty, housing, lobbying and advocacy. Chaired by policy experts in each subject, the fora aim to meet 3-4 times a year in NICVA and venues across the country. Membership is open to any organisation or individual with an interest in any one of these topics.
To attend the hustings or find out more information on the policy fora please contact Cathy Breslin in NICVA at: cathy.breslin@nicva.org or on 028 9087 7777.
