Willing to Receive
This session is an introduction to legacy fundraising particuarly aimed at those who have never used this fundraising technique.
NICVA
NICVA has been facilitating a Will to Give campaign which is aiming to improve awareness of giving to charity in peoples' wills. The session will look at local research on legacy giving, what a legacy is, considering how and when to communicate with potential donors and how to get your message out that you can receive a gift in this way.
NICVA's Neil Irwin will lead a half-day session looking at how charities can begin to consider using legacy fundraising as part of their fundraising mix. (This course is part of NICVA's Recession Busting Series and the Will to Give campaign).

Cancellations Policy If you are unable to attend an event, please cancel no less than five working days in advance. Failure to do so will result in you being charged the full amount, if a training course, or a nominal fee of £20 for all other events.
Getting here and Parking NICVA has a number of free parking spaces available for those attending events. Unfortunately these can't be reserved and are available on a first come basis. NICVA's spaces are clearly marked and we would ask that visitors only use spaces allocated to NICVA when attending an event. Parking is also available on Duncairn Gardens and surrounding areas within close walking distance. NICVA is also a short walk from Yorkgate Train Station and you can easily catch a bus from the city centre (no 1D) direct to Duncairn Gardens, or (no 61 and 64) to Cityside Centre (a few minutes walk).
