Winning grant applications
Winning grant applications is a popular course that has been refreshed to offer the latest training and advice to enable winning applications to funding organisations.
The course is aimed at people who are new to fundraising from grant-makers or who want to refresh their skills or potentially increase their success rate in funding applications.

Objectives
Objective 1 Discuss the range of funding sources available
Objective 2 Describe what makes a successful funding application
Objective 3 Discuss what to include when completing an application form
The course will provide an overview of the funding available and some of the research tools to identify relevant funders; guidance on project design and presentation; case studies of what funders look for in applications and practical skills in completing application forms and writing appeal letters.

As places are limited and demand is usually high please return your booking form as soon as possible and at least one week before the event. Individuals cannot be registered without receipt of a booking form.

Getting here and Parking
NICVA has a number of free parking spaces available for those attending events. Unfortunately these can't be reserved and are available on a first come basis. NICVA's spaces are clearly marked and we would ask that visitors only use spaces allocated to NICVA when attending an event.
Parking is also available on Duncairn Gardens and surrounding areas within close walking distance. NICVA is also a short walk from Yorkgate Train Station and you can easily catch a bus from the city centre (no 1D) direct to Duncairn Gardens, or (no 61 and 64) to Cityside Centre (a few minutes walk).
