To login hover over the Membership link in the blue menu at the top of the screen, from here you will see a Member login link - click this link and you will be redirected to the login page.

You will be prompted for your username and password - your username can be either your NICVA organisation id or your email address you use to login (this will initially be set to the email address you gave to NICVA as your membership contact). You will have received notification of your login details including your unique password, if you have not received this then please email frances.mcatamney@nicva.org or follow the instructions on how to reset your password.
If you have forgotten your password then you can request a new one from the login page (see 'How do I login?'). Click on the 'Request new password' tab at the top of the login form.

Enter either your organisation id or email address and click the E-mail new password button. You will then receive an email with your new password, it is recommended that you change this password once you login (see 'How do I change my login details?'). If you have forgotten both your NICVA organisation id and the email address you use to login then please email frances.mcatamney@nicva.org
When you are logged in you will notice a menu to the right of the screen titled 'My Account', click on the 'Edit my login details' link. From here you can change the email address you use to log into the website with (your username will always be your organisation id and cannot be changed). You can also set a new password from this page (leave these fields blank if you want to keep your current password).
To edit your organisation profile make sure you are viewing your profile page (click the link in the menu if you are on another page) and then click the edit tab just below your organisation name. This will bring up the edit form. On this page you can now adjust your privacy settings and change any details that are displayed about your organisation.
The fields that have a red background on your organisation profile are highlighted in red because they are currently hidden from public view. For privacy concerns we initially marked all of these fields as hidden but if you would like to display them then you can edit your profile and change the display options in the appropriate section.

Your organisation's mission is an outline of what your organisation does; your goals, aims and objectives. The current text that we have for your organisation may be inaccurate so we urge you to edit your profile and update the text to reflect your mission.
It is a good idea to add a logo for your organisation profile page - we will be using this to highlight/promote our members in future.
To upload a logo make sure you have a good quality image in either JPEG, GIF or PNG format (files must be less than 2MB filesize). Edit your profile and scroll down to the logo section.
Depending on your internet browser you will see either a 'Choose file' or 'Browse' button, click this, choose your logo and click 'Open'. Now click on the 'Upload' button to upload your logo.
Do not forget to scroll to the bottom of the page and click the 'Save' button once you are finished or your logo will not be saved.
When you change your address in your profile, the website will try to update the position of the marker on the map based on the details you give.
If you need to change the position of the marker, edit your profile and scroll down to the location details. Use the map controls to zoom in to your organisation's location (the zoom buttons are the plus and minus buttons to the top left of the map; you can also click and drag the map and use your mousewheel to zoom if you prefer).
Once you have found the correct location, click once on the map with your left mouse button to bring up the new marker (the red marker with the black dot is the new marker, the gray one is the old marker). If the location isn't quite right you can click and hold your left mouse button on the marker and drag the marker to another spot.

The email address stored in your account details is the one that you can log into the NICVA website with; our login system requires a unique email address to be stored with all user accounts (this email address is never shared with anyone).
The email address in your organisation profile is not required but if you choose to share your contact details with the general public then you can enter in your organisation's general email address that you would like general enquiries to come to.
You can have a maximum of five purposes and five beneficiaries listed on your organisation profile at any given time. If you need to change these then edit your profile and scroll to the bottom of the form.
The available options are displayed on the left and the selected options are on the right, they are separated by two buttons, one for adding selected options (plus sign) and one for removing selected options (minus sign).

Simply select options from either side and click the appropriate button to move them. When you move an available option to the selected options list it will be added to the bottom of the list.
If the email address you are using to log into the NICVA website has been previously registered with some of our newsletters then you will be able to see which ones you are being sent by clicking this link. You can now update all your newsletter subscriptions from one place.
