The aims of the workshop will be:
- To consider equal opportunity issues highlighted in recent employment tribunal decisions and discrimination settlements.
- To explore failings across a range of employment practice areas including protection from harassment; reasonable adjustment duty; flexible working requests and use of English language in the workplace.
- To discuss how similar complaints might be avoided through the implementation of best practice measures.
Participants will be provided with a copy of the publication: Decisions & Settlement Reviews (2006 to 2007).
