This series of seminars aims to provide organisations with information on a wide range of policy issues which impact on the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland. The seminars will examine popular concepts that we all know exist, but have never really understood the meaning of. They are aimed at all voluntary and community organisations that have an interest in policy.

A Mine of Useful Information

Speakers: John McCormick, NICVA, Gordon McCullough, NICVA

So you’re writing a policy response or developing a campaigning position – how do you get the statistics, ideas and good practice to develop it? There are tons of sources of information out there that most people don’t know about and most of them are free to use. John and Gordon deal with information and statistics everyday and they will share with us their tried and trusted secret stash of websites, think tanks, newsletters and contacts.
