Voluntary and community organisations are increasingly looking at ways in which to provide a better service to their beneficiaries.
Many organisations are working jointly on projects both on an informal and formal basis and for some organisations mergers are a sensible option.
Who will be speaking at the seminar?
NICVA has enlisted the help of Cleaver Fulton Rankin solicitors to help demystify legal due diligence for organisations embarking on a merger or formal collaboration. RNIB’s Director Shane Logan will also give tips on planning a merger from the perspective of someone who has recently been through this process.
Who should attend?
This seminar is aimed at those people who will lead the implementation of the merger/collaboration - chief executives or senior officers and/or board members. Places are limited so priority will be given to those organisations which are seriously considering merging or collaborating on a formal basis.
There will be an opportunity for networking and speaking to the solicitors on your specific situation.
Registering for the event
Breakfast and registration will begin at 7.45am.
There will be a fuller half day seminar on 25 October 2007 on collaborations and mergers which will explore the broader context of collaborative working.
To register, please download and complete the
registration form and return it by Friday 22 June2007, by post or email to Georgie Finlay at NICVA.
