Limiting liability & Risk Assessment
This session gives an overview of potential sources of liability, as well as looking at the different laws which indirectly affect groups. Participants will learn how to carry out a risk assessment and have the opportunity to apply this to some of their group’s activities.
The session will also look at some insurance considerations.
This course is interactive, allowing participants to ask questions throughout and is accompanied by comprehensive notes on the subject.
The training is free as part of the NICVA Outreach Programme.
Please note, training sessions and one-to-one advice sessions are also available in your own premises. If you are unable to attend during the day, evening sessions can also be arranged.
