Peace II extension funding: Measure 2.2.
The Youth Education Social Inclusion Partnership (YESIP), on behalf of the Department of Education, seeks new applications from groups and organisations under Measure 2.2 of the Peace II Extension Programme.
The Youth Education Social Inclusion Partnership is a consortium of twelve partners from within the Northern Ireland Education Service.
This Measure aims to target those groups of children and young people who are at greatest risk of social exclusion and marginalisation both in schools and the youth sector. Measure 2.2 tries to address that exclusion by enhancing their long term life chances and improving their employability through education and training support which is additional to mainstream provision. The target age group is 13-18 in the formal education sector and 13-25 in the non formal education sector. An element of minor capital support for those projects selected is also available through Peace II funding.
