Peace II extension funding: Measure 5.3
Cross-Border Consortium
Examples of cross-border actions supported under Measure 5.3 include:
- Community based initiatives; particularly those targeting marginalised and vulnerable groups which involve inclusion, confidence building, counselling and service provision.
- Social partner organisations and voluntary and community sector co-operation strategies and projects, especially those linked to the economic renewal and social, economic and potential transition themes of the Programme.
- Collation and dissemination of good practice which will help sustain cross-border work in the long term.
Promoting Joint Approaches to Social, Education, Training and Human Resource Development

Examples of cross-border actions supported under Measure 5.4.
- Training, education and counselling initiatives that facilitate and improve access to the labour market;
- Information and specific activities that will facilitate and promote cross-border job mobility;
- Projects that encourage networking of communities to promote equal opportunities for all in accessing the labour market.
