Published on 27 Jan 2006

A practical and interactive training programme and consultancy service on governance and legal issues for voluntary and community organisations in Northern Ireland.

The main aim of this training is to raise awareness about legal and governance issues and good practice considerations in the voluntary and community sector.

Supported by Big lottery fundYOUR COMMENTS

Over 3,000 people have used the outreach programme since it began in 2002.

"Helped to focus on the role of committee, good practical advice that is useable straight away."
Lorraine Fyfe, Little Castle Playgroup

"The step by step clear approach made it much easier to understand. The informal approach also made it easier to ask questions."
Liddean McStravog, Cancer Lifeline

Sessions are organised and delivered by the governance and charity advice service at NICVA. The courses are interactive so that participants can ask questions throughout, and are accompanied by comprehensive notes on the subject.
