These facilitators will be located across Northern Ireland and the Border Counties to facilitate learning in around 100 voluntary and community groups which will be offered places on the International Fund for Ireland's new Community Leadership Programme 2009-12.
The facilitators will fulfil various roles including developmental intervention through running meetings and workshops, conducting experience-based training, and guiding team development.
The facilitators need to be able to demonstrate experience, over at least two years, in facilitating development and action learning with community organisations. They should also have experience in working with groups on leadership, strategy, planning, management and group development. It is essential that they are able to travel to meet assigned groups on a regular basis, often for evening sessions, over a period of three years.
We are also interested in facilitators who are subject matter experts, eg in finance, governance, social enterprise, business and project planning, community development and so on.
The closing date for expressions of interest is 16 January 2009.
