What has been the moment or person of 2005 that you feel was one in a million? We invite you to share your good news stories from the past year.
NICVA's family of websites are now receiving one million page views each month for the first time - and we intend to celebrate!
We would like you to participate in the celebrations by nominating the person or moment that you think has been 'one in a million' in the voluntary and community sector during 2005.
The idea of the feature is to highlight the good news stories of the sector and to create a review of the year.
All the nominations will go live on NICVA's websites in December.
How to participate
Email a short paragraph about your nomination to
Miriam Bell at NICVA and include the name and phone number of your organisation.
Some ideas
Perhaps it was Niall Fitzduff winning the Beacon Award for his efforts for rural development, Bob Geldof demanding the G8 Make Poverty History, the Year of the Volunteer events, winning an Award... we'd like to know.
We look forward to receiving your nominations!
