New prospectus released by NICVA's Management Development Programme with courses for 2004-05. Includes four levels of management training with 75% subsidies from NICVA on all course fees.

AIM: to help managers develop skills and competencies and so see their organisation and the sector improved and changed.

The new prospectus provides both accredited and non-accredited courses that range in length from two days to two years:

  1. First Line Management
  2. Supervisory Management
  3. Senior Management
  4. Master’s Programme

Subsidised course fees

NICVA is pleased to support 75% of the total cost of each course. This makes the opportunities of the programme accessible to all organisations in the sector.

Success so far

This is now the second year of the Management Development Programme.

In the first year, 176 managers and over 110 organisations participated in 12 programmes at three management levels.

Individuals and organisations are already testifying to an improvement in management practice in their workplace with a noticeable difference in supervision methods, strategic planning and procedures.
