Funding Programmes - summary
- PEACE II Extension 2004-06. Focuses on NI and the border regions to achieve a more peaceful, stable, fair and outward looking society sustained by a better physical environment.
- Building Sustainable Prosperity (BSP) 2000-06. Until 2006, NI qualifies for money drawn from four Structural Funds for regional development to raise it to the standards of other European communities. The fund prioritises economic growth, unemployment and urban and social revitalisation.
- EQUAL Community Initiative Programme 2000-06. To combat discrimination and inequality in the labour market through transnational cooperation. Assists the the social and vocational intergration of asylum seekers.
- INTERREG 2000-06. To boost economic and social cohesion through cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation and development.
- LEADER+ Community Initiative Programme 2001-06. Encourages the economic and employment contribution of small businesses and farms through partnership.
- URBAN Community Initiative Programme 2000-06. A development programme for North Belfast which offers technical assistance and focuses on physical, social and people resources.
