NICVA's response to the consultation The Review of Northern Ireland charity legislation. July 2003.
NICVA's response is based on ongoing work carried out by NICVA in related policy areas including the PIU and Strategy Unit consultation and NICVA's own work on its Manifesto over the past couple of years.
This review is widely welcomed throughout the sector as it recognises the need for the reform of the current outdated law and it sets out recommendations for a modern legal and regulatory framework. NICVA welcomes any review which will help protect the public trust and confidence in our sector.
