NICVA's response to the Department of Education's consultation on new admission arrangements for post primary schools.

NICVA has submitted its response to the Department of Education consultation on new admissions arrangements for post primary schools.

NICVA is calling for the addition of a TSN (Targeting Social Need) principle in addition to those proposed. This principle would recognise that the education system must serve the most disadvantaged equally, and that there are social objectives to be considered along with the individual choices of children and families.
