  1. Consultancy. We welcome external research contracts. Our clients include CIVICUS, The Wheel, SEUPB, Voluntary and Community Unit at DSD, Volunteer Development Agency, and the Task Force on Resourcing the Voluntary and Community Sector.

  3. GIS mapping (Geographical Information Systems). GIS is a technology that links location to information (such as deprivation, income). It is used to view and analyse data from a geographic perspective. The information is layered to show how it all interrelates. Request a GIS map, choosing which layers you wish to combine to suit your purpose.

The latest Viewfinder covers issues such as the smoking ban, devolution in Northern Ireland, the issue of a draft Code of Governance for the voluntary and community sector, as well as the idea of mergers.
