NICVA has launched an exciting new programme of scheduled and consultancy training. The scheduled training is shown in the table below. For bespoke training details, or to download a booking form, please scroll down.
This calendar has been developed to meet the needs of the voluntary and community sector and promotes a wide variety of high quality training sessions, ranging from Managing staff to Dealing with difficult people, all at affordable prices. NICVA members benefit from 30% discount on all courses.
The training will be delivered at NICVA but if there is substantial demand we will run additional courses in other locations across Northern Ireland.

Bespoke Training
Our consultancy training can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your organisation
As well as the scheduled training, NICVA can offer bespoke training courses and programmes for individual organisations. This training is delivered by specialists in the field and is tailored to the organisation's needs and can be delivered at a location of your choice.
NICVA's areas of expertise are:
- fundraising (for example, A strategic approach to fundraising or Practical skills in making funding applications)
- governance (for example, Committees and Trustee responsibilities or Charitable status and charity law reform update)
- recruitment and selection
- media training
- management, and
- policy.
Provision of this training is dependent on capacity and availability of staff to deliver at time of request.
Cost
The cost of each of the scheduled courses is on the training calendar. Cost of the consultancy training will be discussed on request.
If you are unable to attend the training you must inform NICVA five working days in advance otherwise you will be invoiced the full cost of the course.
