Guest Speakers: Mary Bunting and Tom Hanney, North South Ministerial Council and representatives from British Irish Council
The North South Ministerial Council and the British Irish Council provide a forum for debate on issues that are relevant to the voluntary and community sector as poverty, environmental issues, education and tourism and yet the sector has been slow to engage with these bodies. This information session will allow voluntary and community organisations to learn more about what the NSMC and BIC actually do, how they function and how they might be of help on the issues important to them.
