Richard O’Rawe Associates will present this four day series of workshops on tendering processes that will enable participants to develop and practice proposal-writing skills. The workshops will look at ways organisations can develop an effective approach to meeting the needs of funders and avoid the type of basic mistakes that often rule out or undervalue an otherwise comprehensive bid for a grant or contract. Emphasis is on practical proposal writing skills, using an evidence-based approach.

Please note as the courses are interlinked it is strongly recommended that participants attend all four days.

The workshops are:

  • 31 Mar 2008 Winning contracts 1: Understanding the public procurement process
  • 21 Apr 2008 Winning contracts 2: Preparing a tender bid
  • 19 May 2008 Winning contracts 3: Collaboration, partnering and contract negotiation
  • 9 Jun 2008 Winning contracts 4: Action learning - prepare and present a tender bid

This event is part of NICVA’s Training Calendar which has been developed to meet the ever increasing variety of needs of the voluntary and community sector. NICVA also offers bespoke training courses and programmes for individual organisations.
