Department of Enterprise Trade and Investment
Aims and objectives
The Department of Enterprise Trade and Investment administers appointments to 4 Non-Departmental Public Bodies in Northern Ireland. They are Invest NI, the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland, and the General Consumer Council for Northern Ireland. The Department also administers appointments to the Northern Ireland Authority for Energy Regulation, a non-Ministerial Government Department. The Department uses procedures which have been extensively audited and approved by the Office of the Commissioner for Public Appointments (OCPA).
